This Hill Resort par excellence nestles amidst the oak and pine trees on the outer slopes of the Dhauladhar ranges. Lord Dalhousie, the founder of the resort conceived it as a sanatorium due to its bracing climate and scenic beauty.

the scenic site has five small bridges over the streams emerging from natural tank. A "Samadhi" in memory of Sardar Ajit Singh, a freedom fighter and uncle of great martyr Bhagat Singh is built here.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose stayed here at the bungalow of Dr. N.R. Dharamvir of Lahore. Netaji came to Dalhousie after his release from British Jail on health grounds.

the 150 year old shrine at Sadar Bazar enshrines a beautiful image of Lord Vishnu.

Dalhousie is studded with faour beautiful Churches - St. Andrew's Church and St. Patrick's Church at Balu; St. Francis Church at Subhash Chowk and St. John's Church at Gandhi Chowk.

the lush meadow of Khajjiar is endowed with exceptional scenic beauty and is often referred by names like 'Gulmarg of Himachal'. It also has a small lake with an island in the centre. Near the lake is beautiful carved temple if Kahjjinag, dating back to 12th century.
